To do this is to make sure that your negative power cable is still unplugged from the battery to avoid short circuiting. Now connect the positive red wire from the amp power cable to the positive car battery terminal. You gonna have to use an O ring for doing this.

Fix the fuse in the fuse case and connect the power cable with the amp, pass the cable through the car’s firewall. Run also the thin wire from the amp wiring kit in a parallel in an opposite direction to the power cable, heading for the head unit. Run the RCA cable from the head unit to the amp.

The next step is wiring your amp to your sub. When you decide the place where you want your sub to be mounted, remember that the black ground cable has to be connected to the car’s chassis for grounding. Connect the amp to the sub and fix both in their places.

Connect the RCA signal cable with the head unit, and on the other end, connect the RCA cable, power and ground to the amp. Place your sub and connect them with the amp.

When you done all that correctly, the last thing you have to do is placing your head unit back in dash. Reconnect the negative cable with the car battery and you’re ready to test your new stereo system.
